The PRISM Project name is an acronym
for Process Re-engineering and Information Systems Migration.
Need for systems replacement was first raised in 2001/2002, and was included in the last capital project request submitted to Frankfort (2003).
There is universal agreement that technology should not be the primary force behind the project. Business process re-design and adoption of “best practices” are at the center of the project.
Project was submitted by IT during the last internal technology project request process and evaluated as the top administrative systems priority (March 2004).
